Lobe chair

This chair originated out of our home situation. Me and my girlfriend like to 'work' on projects in the evening. We have an old typically Dutch house from 1899 that was originally made for a weaver. It is authentic and cozy but also a bit small. Our bench in the living area takes up way too much space for its purpose of hanging in front of the television. So the bench goes. And a nice desk will come in return.
But! we also like to watch a good series or docu sometimes so we needed a really comfy loveseat.

And true love is loving every lobe so they say. Out of that concept, the designer does not have to do much anymore but providing a steady holding frame.
