Antlers candle stand

This candlestand was initially supposed to be a coatstand. At least, that was my starting goal.
It originated out of playing with spheres, and while playing it triggered the image of antlers in my head. After I was so in love with the shapes I composed in my head, the design emerged. Besides the fact that the base of the stand was not suitable for hanging coats on, I did not want to cover up the shape I got so in love with. After putting candles on it, it was definite. Because the corner candles are higher than the side branch candles it creates a height difference resulting in a crownlike feel. When a product has to work together with other objects such as a candleholder and a candle, I always want the shape of the other object to work in favor of the overall design. It is something that is often overlooked but so important. In this case, the candles give the candlestand a crown and I love the result of that.
