Concrete stove

While working on the lava project there was a moment I did not yet really know the limits of lava casting. I designed this stove during my graduation at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Producing it in casted lava was unfortunately not possible so I created it in concrete. After visiting the factory, the limitations of production came more clear to me and I decided to use concrete plaster for the stove.
The first version is the one without the plateau. The second version originated out of the way I always pre-dry the upcoming log. My firewood is often half wet due to the rain and laying it in front of the fire I make sure I don't smoke or choke it with a cold wet log. The plateau is also very handy for resting your fire poker.
