The fucking heavy chair

My first traineeship was with woodworkers Hayo&Gerrie at their sawmill in Akkrum. The place is like a fairytale and I absolutely loved it.
It was a place where creation started with a tree trunk. It was bare ass, raw, bold, soft, original, warm, and heavy, the wood I mean..
When thinking of solid wood, this is the first place my mind goes to.
And then a chair like this comes out of it : )
